Elect Richard Boykin for the Circuit Court Clerk's Office
CONTINUING A LEGACY OF SERVICE FOR COOK COUNTY
The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County is responsible for managing the front lines of service delivery in one of the largest court systems in the world. Every single matter that comes before the Circuit Court originates with a record in the Clerk’s Office- and the Clerk is the official record keeper of every judicial matter in Cook County. This is an immense responsibility that requires an annual budget of approximately $130 million, and a staff of 1,400.
Ultimately, the duties of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County are about more than managing paper and electronic records. They are about maintaining the integrity of the Cook County judicial system, and expanding access to justice for all citizens.
